Satyameva Jayate had given him the idea and it ran into some problems in pre-production, mainly because he wasnt given co-production status. He said, The original was delayed for about 10 years, but it is a matter of research and patience. I have not seen a Hindi film in a dozen years. I wanted to look at the audience and type of content that can be done today in Hindi. It was released in 2008 with a clean censor rating. It is currently available on Amazon India , among other online and offline video streaming platforms.
